Sideoats Gramma

Sideoats Gramma is a clumping, warm season grass that derives it's name from the one-side arrangement of the spikelets along the stem. Grows 1-2 ft. tall with gray green, fine textured foliage. Erect flowers grow to 15" tall with purple tinted tones.

These mature to a golden color that bleaches white as cold weather approaches and then blushes purple with the first frost, and finally dries to a straw color. Excellent dried or fresh arrangement material. Bouteloua Curtipendula. Sideoats Gramma thrives in zones 4-9.
